The 10th Annual World Free Zones Organization (World FZO) Congress is taking place in Dubai from September 23 to 25 at the Madinat Jumeirah venue. The event, held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is dedicated to the theme “Free Zones and Changing Global Economic Structures — Unlocking New Investment Horizons.”

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Congress, and it is being held in Dubai for the fifth time. The previous edition in Dubai was one of the largest in the event’s history.

Currently, the World FZO organization includes more than 1,600 members from 141 countries, operates 12 regional offices worldwide, and has 42 national coordination centers.

The organization has significantly expanded its role as free economic zones diversify their activities to include new sectors of the economy.
